A medical wig is a customized unit designed to cover temporary or permanent hair loss. Human hair units come in a variety of bases and are created to be comfortable, lightweight and natural looking. Units can be customized in texture, length, fullness, color and styling.
What is a Cranial Prosthesis?
A customized nonsurgical hair replacement unit designed for those with significant hair loss. Units may be worn full time, allowing wearer to enjoy all life has to offer without worry of unit slipping, lifting or falling off. Units last for several months and require regular maintenance. Units are installed by Certified Cranial Prosthesis Specialist after a comprehensive consultation.
What does a Hair Loss Practitioner do?
A Certified Hair Loss Practitioner can serve as your personal guide in your hair journey. A Practitioner provides expert advice on hair and scalp conditions. They are trained to identify, prevent, and help resolve hair loss, dandruff, and other scalp issues. They should be a part of your total care team, working with your primary care physician or dermatologist.
When should I get help with my hair loss?
If you are experiencing noticeable hair loss, thinning, excessive hair breakage, dandruff or scalp itching, changes in hair texture, or scalp conditions that aren't improving with over-the-counter treatments. You should also consider seeking guidance after prolonged use of wigs and protective styling.
Will my insurance cover my services?
Some flexible spending plans will allow for reimbursement for Hair Regrowth Services with a receipt. Medical wigs and cranial prosthesis may be covered by your medical insurance. At this time, we can provide a Super Bill to submit, along with a prescription from your physician for reimbursement with your insurance carrier.
How will I know which service is best for me?
Because of the sensitive nature of our services, all services are provided after a consultation. Hair Regrowth Systems require a signed service agreement. The purchase of hair units also require consultation as units are customized and nonrefundable. Your practitioner will help you determine which options are best for you.
I don't live nearby, can I still get care?
We are thrilled to offer virtual coaching services for our Hair Regrowth Services. We also offer shipping for hair units after proper consultation and measurements.
What are the shipping policies for purchases?
Products ordered through our website are shipped via USPS. Please allow 7-10 days for processing and shipping.
What is the return policy?
To maintain integrity of products, we keep a limited inventory. We do not offer refunds. A positive client experience is our top priority, so please notify us immediately of any challenges you may experience and we'll work together for resolution.
